FLYING MCLAREN is developing into a nice horse and now adds a Class 1 race to his resume today at Balaklava.
He had to contend with the widest draw in a small field but showed lovely gate speed to land outside the leader.
The son of Fighting Sun is raw and was forced to battle early in the straight, but knuckled down to kick clear in the last 100m under the urgings of Alana Livesey.
