Vancouver won the Group 1 Golden Slipper from barrier 16 in the same time as leading first season sire Pierro and faster than the likes of Capitalist, Luskin Star, Marscay, Rory’s Jester, Danzero, Flying Spur, Stratum & Sebring.

The Dam, DANCES ON WAVES is by Champion sire and arguably the world best Broodmare sire ANABAA. ANABAA has produced, as a broodmare sire, 17 Group 1 winners including BUFFERING, DISSIDENT, HARTNELL and ENGLISH. ANNABA is the broodmare sire of earnings more than $199 million. DANCES ON WAVES was a 5-time winner up to 1600m and won the Group 2 AJC Villiers stakes. Not only was she good on the racetrack, but she has also proved herself in the barn with five foals to race for 4 winners. These include city winner, Pipeline and 4-time winner, Escondido. DANCES ON WAVES is a direct descendent of 4-time Group 1 winner, PREFERMENT and Group 1 winner, ANCIENT SONG.

Peter’s strike rate is not short of amazing with a win strike rate of 18% and an incredible Group 1 strike rate of 10%. He will set up his return to training with boxes at Pakenham.
